Yet again I decided to make a new post.
Yet again here I am with a new post, this is about The Owlient Powrtal.
Owlien powrtal tells you about how it was named Owlient, you see it's first name was Olient.

Now, I will tell about Ow, this story is from the Owlient Powrtal:
Who is OW?
We finally found him! But what a to-do!
The office Monday morning was like a battlefield. The forums were in chaos. Strange objects had popped up in the competitions, Easter eggs. It was all his fault! We had finally caught him several weeks back, after he had crashed out on one of our huge fluffy cushions.
He carried on pulling faces and monkeying around, even though he was a bit shaken up. What were we going to do with him? We had to make our minds up. A long discussion ensued: A monkey in the office? No way!... Call a zoo? But he’s so cute... Ok, he’s caused chaos, but he looks friendly enough... He’s been around for ages though, just we haven’t noticed him. What are we going to do? What ARE we going to do?
While we were deciding his fate, Ow – whom you know already from games and forums - and the little white monkey started getting along famously.
Finally we decided to keep him but on two conditions: first, he was forbidden from hiding our computer mice every morning, and secondly, if he was going to stick around, he’d have to pull his weight.
Like his guardian Ow, we decided to give him the same name. Our little monkey Ow was pleased as punch to stay with us and started telling his tale.
He was born 5 years ago with the launch in France of equideow, or equideo as it was known then. He kept himself to himself to begin with. Fascinated, he watched players discover equideo and raise their horses. As the months passed, Ow came out of his shell. Always on the look out for fun and new discoveries, he came up with a few surprises.
The first was an invasion of spring insects, giving birth to the bucowlic competition. French players were invited to catch lowdybirds, cowterpillars and other bugs to tidy the place up.
Encouraged by this first success, Ow went one step further and organised a massive pill-ow fight. No one was safe – the only thing to do was don a bowlster and take paracetamowls to dull the pain. Naturally, Ow was nowhere to be seen amidst the chaos.

Then he started causing mayhem in the forums – changing logins, adding colours, giving everyone the same user name. We didn’t know what was going on! We knew someone was messing with the game, but it was impossible to get our hands on him.
As Ow continued spilling the beans on all the monkey business he’d been up to for 5 years, we realised he was very attached to Owlient and really loved having fun with you. He especially likes it when you pick up on his tomfoolery! In reply, some of you started adding Ws and Ows to your uowser and howrse names. He was delighted you’d followed suit and became cheekier and cheekier, also slipping in Ws everywhere. That’s how Olient became Owlient and Equideo became Equideow!
Next he started to learn English, German, Spanish and even Russian to make friends with lots more people and spread his shenanigans around more communities.
And then last winter he launched a free-for-all snowball fight in all games. He followed this up with a gigantic water fight in summer. All players whatever their nationalities became the targets

of our diminutive monkey for a succession of days.
And he still won’t stop adding Ow to the name of every game.
Ever curious, with his trademark cheeky style, he introduced himself to the world of childcare (what he likes most are the cuddly toys!), then to the world of fashion (he hasn’t got into make-up or hairdressing yet – let’s hope it stays that way!!... ;-))
He meanders from game to game and from language to language in search of fresh larks and most of all to enjoy your company.
We spent a magnificent evening finding our more about our little white wonder whose existence we had suspected even if we had never seen hide nor hair of him - even if his practical jokes had given us a very clear idea of his character.
Only too pleased to stay with us, he set about working, well, kind of.
The first job we gave him – seeing as he knew our games so well – was to help new players discover a game: How does it work? What are the actions? Why?
Now when you first connect to one of the Owlient games, you’ll find our little monkey Ow giving you step-by-step directions.

We intend to promote him to the role of “Community Entertainments Officer” and to give him a hand (a very big hand) answering your questions and feedback. We’ll see what he reckons.
Delighted with his first genuine and visible input, he has settled himself nicely into an office behind a desk, where he even sits still sometimes, and is busy cooking up new surprises for you… So get ready!
See you soon ...
The Owlient team and our little monkey, Ow!
